As a child I was always very interested in music. I started playing violin at the age of 6. Currently I play in several orchestras including the Oost-Gelders Symfonieorkest, and I am involved in a lot of projects.
In 2024 I graduated from the Waldorf School in Zutphen with a 9 for music. As my final project in the last year I took on the challenge of writing and performing a 4-movement symphony for strings. This became Harmony's Journey, my first ever composition. In one year I composed, learned to conduct, formed an (amateur) string orchestra and performed my work live. A video of this and more info can be found on the Conducting page.
Since then a world has opened up for me and I haven't stopped composing. It has become part of my life, just like conducting, but also playing the piano which I started immediately after graduating. In the meantime I have published a couple of songs on e.g. Spotify and YouTube, including Ondeggiando l'Amore, a serenade written for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. At the moment I am working on my next symphony, called The Journey Continues, for full symphony orchestra. In addition, I have also gained some experience in cinematic music.
Since 2025 I have been studying classical violin with Maria-Paula Majoor and composition with Wilbert Bulsink at the ArtEZ Conservatory. I'm always looking for more musical experiences and ways to challenge myself.
